The RealSimGear FAA Approved Cirrus BATD is a realistic turn key flight simulation system for both home use and flight schools designed to mimic Cirrus SR20/22 type aircraft.
The system can be purchased in two form factors, based on our Cirrus Console platform (a bit more moduar) and our Cirrus Cockpit (a realistic looking/feeling cockpit structure). Both systems include a base platform (console or cockpit), G1000 avionics, switch panel, all controls, PC, monitor, and all software required for setting up the simulator.
The console form factor is very portable making it easy to move the sim from location to location. All BATD systems also include our Proactive Maintenance and Premium Support for the 1st year, which provides for the initial software setup (remotely), configuration and a tutorial session. Then ongoing RealSimGear will work to ensure the flight sim PC is kept up to date with Windows updates, graphics card updates, simulator and aircraft updates. Premium support gives your almost instant access to our knowlegable technical support team via email, phone or chat.
** Physical assembly of the seat/frame and rudder pedals is required. Cirrus Cockpit comes fully assembled ready to mount to the seat/frame system.
** Cirrus BATD systems include the choice of one aircraft model, G3/G5 SR20, SR22NA, or SR22TN
RealSimGear FAA Letter of Authorization (LoA) for all BATD systems.

Where do you ship?
We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states and most international locations. Some restrictions may apply based on product size and carrier availability.
How much is shipping?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location, carrier, and the size/weight of your simulator. Occasionally, we offer free shipping promotions within the continental U.S.
How long does delivery take?
Orders typically ship within 3–5 business days. Delivery time varies depending on your location:
- Continental U.S.: 5–10 business days
- Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico: 7–14 business days
- International: 10–20 business days (subject to customs clearance)
Will I receive a tracking number?
Yes, once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details so you can monitor your delivery.
Do you ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses?
Due to the size and weight of our simulators, we cannot deliver to PO boxes. Please use a physical street address. APO/FPO shipments may be possible with special arrangements—please contact us.
Are customs duties and taxes included for international orders?
No, international customers are responsible for all customs duties, VAT, and import taxes required by their country.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery on unused, unopened products in their original packaging. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. 15% restocking fee will be imposed on used or damaged returns.
How do I start a return?
Please contact our support team at return@gtrsim.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before sending any items back.
Do you charge a restocking fee?
Yes, a 15% restocking fee may apply to returned items to cover inspection, repackaging, and processing costs.
What if my simulator arrives damaged or defective?
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or with missing parts, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.
Can I exchange my simulator for a different model?
Exchanges are accepted within the return window. The customer is responsible for any price difference and shipping costs.
How long does it take to receive a refund?
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days back to your original payment method.

I WOULD LIKE TO USE MY OWN RACING SEAT. DO YOU SELL THE FRAME WITHOUT THE SEAT?

WHAT GAMES CAN YOU PLAY WITH IT?
The chair and frame don’t really determine which games you can play.
That’s down to the peripherals you choose in terms of steering wheel, throttle controls, joystick, etc. and which console (Xbox, PlayStation, ps4, GTR Simulator Force Feedback Wheels , etc.) you use. Generally, these setups are used for driving / racing sims or flight sim.
DOES THIS COME WITH ALL THE MOUNTING SCREWS, ETC.?
This set comes with all screws to put the set together. But does not include mounting screws for steering wheel, pedal or monitor.
WHAT IS THE AGE AND HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS?
We have kids as little as 3 feet playing on our famous GTA Pro Rig. 3 feet is the minimum human height I will suggest for you. There’s no limited for age, so just need to make sure the height is enough to control the simulator.
DOES THIS SEAT EASILY ADJUST (SLIDE LIKE A REGULAR CAR SEAT) BETWEEN AN ADULT AND A 7 YEAR OLD AND GET CLOSE ENOUGH TO PEDALS FOR SAID 48" KID.

It has an adjustable seat slide with a very nice range, as well as a recline adjustment just like a true race seat.
CAN I HARD MOUNT GTR SIMULATOR, FANATEC, MOZA, PXN, SIMUCUBE, LOGETICH, THRUSTMASTER WHEELS AND PEDALS?
All of our Racing Rigs come predrilled for the common wheels, for anything that's not predrilled. You will have to drill some holes, but yes, you can.
HOW WIDE IS THE SEAT? WOULD A LARGE PERSON BE COMFORTABLE IN THIS RIG? MAINLY WORRIED ABOUT THE BOTTOM NEXT TO THIGHS AND SHOULDER AREA.
The seat will fit up to 250lbs person comfortably.
HOW ADJUSTABLE IS THE SEAT, CAN IT SLIDE, TILT, OR ANY OTHER ADJUSTMENTS?
This seat can slide forward, backwards, and tilt forward and backwards.
DOES THE RIG COME WITH THE STEERING WHEEL? IS IT COMPATIBLE WITH XBOX ONE?
This item is only for the frame and the seat. No steering wheel or monitor is included. You can purchase add on wheels directly from us.
HOW MANY TRACKS ARE ON THE SIMULATOR?
It is just the seat and cockpit, and monitor mounts. Doesn’t come with sim software, or steering wheel or pedals.
WHAT IS THE BIGGEST MONITOR SIZE I CAN USE IF I RUN A 3 MONITOR SET UP? IT SAYS IT CALLS FOR 24-INCH MONITORS, BUT IS IT POSSIBLE TO GO A BIT LARGER?
The stand hold max 3 x 24. But we do sell large tv stand that will hold up to 3×39
WHAT IS THE SIZE RANGE FOR MONITORS ON THIS STAND?( GTR SIMULATOR GTA TRIPLE MONITOR STANDS - LARGE 3 X 39)
Maxium size is 3 x 39 and minimum size is 3 x 22
HOW DO I HOOK THREE MONITORS TO SET UP XBOX OR PLAYSTATION, IF SO DO I NEED ANY SPECIAL WIRING OR ADAPTERS?
You need 3 consoles it doesn’t matter if its a Playstation, or Xbox.
With all three, you will also need an Ethernet link to the internet with a multi Ethernet connection modem.
The other way is to get a gaming PC that has 3 or more of the following VGA, Display Port (DP) DVI, DVi D, HDMI Ports which are found in the graphics cards that are in gaming PCs.
So if your choice is to use 3 consoles, you need 3 Ethernet cables to connect to your computers modem or one gaming PC with the video card to run 3 monitors and some gaming computers. You can have more than one graphics card.
DOES IT HAVE MOUNTS FOR THE SHIFTER ON BOTH SIDES OR JUST THE RIGHT/LEFT?
The set will include a right or left side shifter only. You can purchase another shifter if you want. But you need to pay the extra fee for that cockpit.
HOW MANY INCHES ABOVE THE GROUND IS THE SEAT?
It’s approx 12 inches
DOES IT COME WITH THE FLOORBOARD BETWEEN THE SEAT AND THE PEDALS?
