Austin Varco
Austin Varco is an American racing driver currently competing in SCCA Spec Miata and WorldRacingLeague national enduro series. Raised in San Diego, CA by two club racers, Austin took quickly to karting at just 4 years old. In 2022, Austin won Rookie of the Year in the California region SCCA, the First Gear Mazda Challenge championship, and was nominated for the coveted Mazda Road-To-24 scholarship.
When he's not racing or coaching, Austin runs a program called Race4Autism — a non-profit assisted program that aims to bring families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder to the racetrack in a sensory-safe way and jointly fundraise for local 501(c)3 organizations. Austin himself was diagnosed with Autism at 20 years old and continues to act as an inspiration for those on the spectrum, using his platform in racing to act as a bridge between the neurodiverse and neurotypical.
