Built From a Passion for Racing
GTR Simulator was born from a genuine passion for motorsports, performance vehicles, and the pursuit of a more realistic racing experience.
Our story began in 2002 with the founding of Abtivan Corporation, originally established to provide reliable automotive performance parts to racing enthusiasts. With deep roots in the automotive and motorsports communities, the company developed relationships with professional race car drivers, engineers, fabricators, and enthusiasts around the world.
Those relationships, combined with years of real-world racing experience, eventually led us in a new direction: racing simulation.
From the Racetrack to the Simulator
Professional racing requires constant practice, but access to a racetrack is limited by time, location, weather, equipment, and cost. Racing simulators offered a way for drivers to spend more time behind the wheel and continue developing their skills away from the track.
However, many simulator cockpits available at the time had significant compromises. Some lacked the rigidity required for serious racing equipment, while others offered unrealistic seating positions or were simply too expensive for the average enthusiast.
We believed there should be a better option.
Working with experienced racers, engineers, and fabricators, we began developing a simulator cockpit that could bring elements of a real race car driving position into an accessible and practical simulation platform.
Countless hours were spent studying performance vehicles, measuring seating positions, testing driving ergonomics, and evaluating the characteristics that make a cockpit feel natural behind the wheel.
From that process, GTR Simulator was born.
Professional Simulation Made Accessible
Since 2010, GTR Simulator has been developing and offering racing simulator cockpits and simulation solutions designed for everyone from first-time racers and gaming enthusiasts to professional drivers, schools, businesses, and commercial simulation facilities.
Over the years, GTR Simulator has expanded beyond the cockpit itself. Our simulation solutions can incorporate direct-drive steering systems, professional pedals, multi-monitor displays, high-performance gaming computers, motion systems, flight simulation equipment, and complete turnkey installations.
Our products and solutions have reached customers throughout North America and international markets, including Europe, Australia, and Asia.
Our philosophy remains simple: create professional-grade simulation experiences that combine performance, realism, durability, and value.
A New Chapter: The GTR Simulator Sim Center
In 2026, we took the next step in our journey by opening our first GTR Simulator Sim Center in Ontario, California.
The Sim Center brings the GTR experience directly to the public, giving people the opportunity to experience racing simulation without having to own a complete simulator at home.
More than simply a place to drive, the center serves as a showroom, racing and training facility, community gathering place, and testing environment for the next generation of GTR Simulator products.
Guests can experience linked racing simulators, motion and non-motion systems, competitive racing, leaderboards, leagues, special events, and other simulation experiences.
It also allows us to learn directly from the people who use our equipment every day. Feedback from beginners, enthusiasts, competitive sim racers, and professional drivers helps us continue improving the products and experiences we create.

I upgraded from a budget rig that constantly moved during races. The GTA Revolution changed everything. It’s ultra-stable, and the design is so thoughtfully engineered. The seat compatibility was a big plus for me—I used my own bucket seat without any hassle. The optional quad monitor stand is also a must if you want full immersion. It’s an investment, but one you won’t regret.
