Frequently Asked Questions

What's a session like?

Show up, check in, and get briefed by one of our instructors. We'll adjust the seating position, wheel, pedals, and controls to fit you, then walk you through the basics of driving or flying. Most guests are comfortable within a few minutes and are racing or flying confidently by the end of their first session.

Do I need any experience?

No. Most of our guests have never used a simulator before. We provide beginner-friendly instruction and can adjust assists, difficulty, and vehicle selection to match your skill level.

Can I choose my own car and track?

Absolutely. We offer hundreds of cars and tracks from around the world. Whether you want to drive a GT3 race car at Spa, an F1 car at Monza, a street car on the Nürburgring, or a drift car at Ebisu, we'll help you find the perfect combination.

Can I choose what aircraft I fly?

Yes. Depending on the simulator and software, you can fly airliners, general aviation aircraft, military jets, helicopters, and more. Our instructors can recommend options based on your experience level.

Can beginners try the flight simulators?

Absolutely. No flight experience is required. We can start with basic takeoffs, landings, sightseeing flights, or guided training sessions.

What's the difference between motion and non-motion simulators?

Motion simulators physically move to replicate vehicle dynamics such as acceleration, braking, cornering, turbulence, and road surface feedback. Non-motion simulators remain stationary while providing the same visual and force-feedback experience.

How many people can race together?

We can host individual sessions, small groups, private parties, corporate events, and team-building activities. Up to 8 simulators can be linked together so guests can race together in the same session.

Can we race only against our group?

Yes. Private sessions can be configured exclusively for your group. Friends, family, coworkers, and event participants can compete against each other in a private race environment.

How long are the sessions?

Most sessions are available in 30-minute, 60-minute, and custom event formats. Longer sessions are recommended for first-time guests who want instruction, practice, and racing time.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended. No special equipment is required.

Is there an age requirement?

Most children ages 10 and up can comfortably use the simulators, depending on their height and ability to reach the controls. Younger participants may require assistance from a parent or instructor.

Can I practice for a real track day or racing event?

Yes. Many drivers use simulators to learn tracks, improve racecraft, develop consistency, and prepare for upcoming track days and competitions.

Can I book the entire facility?

Yes. Private facility rentals are available for groups, corporate functions, content creators, esports events, and special occasions.

Can I record or stream my session?

Yes. Guests are welcome to take photos and videos. Content creators and streamers interested in professional recording setups should contact us in advance.

Do I need to make a reservation?

Reservations are highly recommended, especially during evenings, weekends, and special events. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability.

What if I'm late?

Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled session. Late arrivals may reduce available driving or flying time if another booking follows yours.

Can I purchase a simulator after trying one?

Absolutely. GTR Simulator is both a simulator experience center and a simulator manufacturer. Guests can test various racing and flight simulator configurations before purchasing for home, commercial, educational, or professional use.

Do you sell the same simulators used in the center?

Yes. Most of the equipment featured in our experience center is available for purchase, including complete turnkey simulator packages, motion systems, cockpits, displays, PCs, and accessories.
